Growing up Sally Gunnell was a big deal. Like Linford Christie and Torvell and Dean she was one of the superstar Olympians of my childhood. At school any girls good at sport were always likened to Sally Gunnell regardless of but it’s only recently I learnt what a true legend Sally is.
