This week we thought we’d go for a drink that’s steeped in history – with a royal provenance no less. Allow us to introduce the Soyer au Champagne cocktail, a favourite of Queen Victoria’s which she enjoyed supping whenever she hosted banquet at the Midland Grand Hotel (now the St. Pancras Renaissance) during its heyday at the end of the 19th century.
