To celebrate London Fashion Week in general and some amazing designers in particular, the May Fair hotel has created a range of special LFW-themed cocktails based on the collections – including Corrie Nielsen’s. And we filmed three of them! (There’s going to be a special Boozy Saturday and a Boozy Monday too – goodness how will you cope?)
We’ve been looking forward to seeing Corrie's SS/13 collection on the catwalk at London Fashion Week ever since we saw it coming into being months ago in the studio. As you are reading this, the models will be stomping down the catwalk and who knows what else might happen (we’ve got our suspicions, and we’ll report back as soon as we know for sure – check Twitter!)
Corrie’s SS13 show is based around the blueprints of flowers and botanics and a colour palette that concentrates on muted oranges and yellows so she has a cocktail that features vodka, rose petal water and edible flowers.

And the recipe, in case you couldn’t hear over the general hubbub in the May Fair Bar:
Grey Goose vodka 50ml
Rose petal water 20ml
Passionfruit juice 25ml
Gomme syrup 15ml
Shake ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker, then strain into a classic cocktail glass and garnish with a piece of fresh passionfruit and edible flowers.
