John Rocha's show was a riot of ruffles and clouds of tulle in fiery red, sunshine yellow, fuchsia, black and white. That floral vibe that we saw at Corrie Nielsen was present here as well - the models looked like sunflowers and roses as they floated down the catwalk, but there was a tough edge to their prettiness too.
We bumped into Kate Nash on our travels, wearing Felder Felder shoes, hot on the back of her performance for them last night.
Next up, Clements Ribeiro:
Clements Ribeiro SS13 was heaven for indie girls, with a groovy French '60s surf soundtrack, plenty of clashing florals, stripes and fish scales sequins. Oh and day glo belts, which make everything look cool.
And here's Phoebe's first dispatch from the FROW:
Not quite quite bright eyed and bushy tailed, we took our seats for the first show of London Fashion Week Day 2: DAKS. And luckily it was worth getting up early for; clean, cool and quietly assured, this was wearable, seriously grown-up fashion.
The famous DAKS check was re-imagined as a silver weave on dresses and tops and also appeared in its traditional form on capes, macs and skirts. There was no fanfare, no pomp or circumstance in these clothes, just a calm confidence that was very seductive.
Morning all! It's day 2 and while Phoebe's writing up her first show reports, here's a picture of our intrepid fashion editor looking lovely in this Jaeger suit, a Uniqlo T-Shirt and ASOS heels which, rather helpfully you can't see here. However I can confirm that they're red and very nice.
You can watch a live stream of the shows here and we’ll be updating this page throughout the day with reports, pictures and random observations so keep checking back!
